Internet network marketing is just what it sounds like. It is building a network marketing, or as some call it an MLM or Multilevel Marketing, business using the internet to attract prospects that are highly qualified to join your business. You no longer have to call your friends and family or try to get total strangers to take time to listen to your business presentation. To start with they probably were not interested in starting a business in the first place. If the individual is not interested in starting a business at that time do you think they will be interested in joining your team and working to build a business? In most cases I would say that the answer to that question is a big fat NO.

Making cold calls you are not likely to find a prospect that is wanting to start a business. Wouldn’t it be more fun and less frustrating to have people that are actually looking for a home based business contact you. If the prospect is already looking for a business, then half of the battle is already won. All you have to do is show that person that you and your business is the one that will be the best for them. I am absolutely positive that your business is the best business in the entire world. If it wasn’t then you would not be involved in it would you?

No matter what business you are in I can show you how to build that business, with less effort than you are expending now.

I have a confession to make

Well you guessed it I am blogging in order to develop a following in order to improve my home business. Which is what at least 50% of the people that are now on the social networking sites are trying to do.

If you haven’t figured that out by now you have not been here long or you are hiding under a rock, and it has protected you from the truth very well. That is not necessarily a bad thing. It is just the way things have developed on the internet. People have found out that it is easier and cheaper to sit at a computer and get in touch with hundreds and even thousands of prospects. It is certainly a lot easier than calling everyone you know and a lot of people you don’t know and getting absolutely nowhere with trying to advance your business.

And if you set it up right you might sell them something along the way even if they do not join your network marketing business. Network marketing has taken a completely different path than it was built on. The people that succeed using the old methods are the people that were good at marketing and sales, using pre internet methods. I have met some of the top leaders in the industry, and I have noticed that most of them had a background in marketing or sales. Some people are just natural born sales people. However, anyone can learn how to sell and run a successful marketing campaign.

Which is more important The sponsor or the company?

Do most people join a company or a person when they decide to become involved in a network marketing company? I would be willing to bet a dollar to a dime that the majority of people join because of the person that sponsors them more son than the company. The sponsor is also more important to the new recruit than the product or products, or the compensation plan. If the person likes and believes in the sponsors ability to help them be a success in business, they do not care what they are selling. They have faith that this person will help them succeed even if they are selling snow in the middle of a blizzard.

I know a very successful person in network marketing that tells the story about how he became involved in his present company. He was waiting for his sponsor to come pick him up at home to go check out a company. When the sponsor arrived, he told him that they were not going to see the company he had been talking to him about; he had found a better company. Did this individual get upset and tell him he was not interested in switching to a new company? No, he looked at his wife and told her, “I don’t know where this man is going, but I believe in him and I am going with him.” They both went on to become successful in the new company.

I do not think that anyone will blindly follow someone no matter what they propose, but if it is a legitimate business. They are interested in starting a business. Then they are 100% more likely to join someone they like and believe in.

Who would you want to become involved in business with? A person who you feel is actually interested in helping you succeed in building your business and showing you how to help your people build their business, or someone who just wants to sell you a business and let you find out how to be a success on your own.

There are many ways to build a network marketing business. For some people the traditional warm market friends and family list is the best way to go. However, for most people these days there isn’t much success left in this method. As one of the most successful network marketers in the history of the industry said, “Talk to your friends and family first, get your disappoints out of the way early.”
