Do not misunderstand me, I am not putting down the Network Marketing (MLM) industry. I think it is probably one of the best business models in use today. At the same time, it is undoubtedly, the most misunderstood and misused business model that exists today. there are people that just want to get everyone to sign up in order to make the bonus paid for recruiting a new distributor into the business, and then they put them on their own to sink or swim. Translated that means, they get rich or build up debt and go broke. Guess what the largest percentage of these people do? Absolutely right, they go broke and wind up with a large debt to pay off. Then the industry has another dissatisfied person telling everyone they talk to that network marketing is really a scam.

When you are looking for a good home  based business to start, the first thing you  need to do is find a business that you like and can promote with confidence and the assurance that you are helping your customers get fair value for the money that they spend with you. The next thing and equally important is to find a sponsor who is willing to work with you to build your business; not only the recruiting side of the network marketing business, but also the actual business of marketing the products or services that the company sells. To me this means that the company markets a product or service the gives the customer value at a fair price.

Then the way to make the business grow is to get started working to promote the products and or services that the company markets. At the same time you should get to work recruiting distributors in order to build a down line of distributors that you can help do the same thing you are doing in order create that residual income that everyone in network marketing is striving to build.
